Lush R&B Hair Moisturizer Review

During my last trip to Lush, I received a sample of the Lush R&B Hair Moisturizer. This is a leave-in conditioner with hair-softening and frizz-frightening natural ingredients like and candelilla wax, oat milk, avocado butter, and coconut oil.

The product itself looks like a creamy wax. It is very thick, so I took a penny-sized dollop and rubbed it between my palms before running my hands through the length of my hair when wet.

The result?

Less frizzy hair.

However, R&B has a real funk of a smell.

This has an orange blossom scent, which sounds nice, but was not at all appealing to me. There is also a hint of jasmine, which I normally would like, but not mixed in with the orange blossom. The scent does linger in the hair until the hair is washed. In terms of use, I think that if you use too much, it would definitely make the hair greasy. Overall, this made my hair smooth and I didn't have as many flyaways as I normally do, but the smell was so horrid that I couldn't imagine using this any longer than the sample lasted. That being said, I find a lot of Lush's scents overwhelming, but if that is your thang, this might be for you!

  1. Thanks for saving me some money. I read another review and she was praising it up and down. Your review was more honest and thorough. Overall, how do you like LUSH? Have you ever tried Hair Veda’s products?

  2. I can tolerate Lush scents, so I might get this. Thanks for the review!

  3. Glad you liked the post...hopefully you like the product!

  4. Glad this helped!!! I am always honest in my opinions, and it is nice to be appreciated!
